On Sunday, February 8th, 2015, Demeters Steakhouse hosted Share Your Love, a dinner and fundraiser benefitting the Seacoast chapter of Share Our Strength.

The roster of chefs at Share Your Love was a culinary dream team, including Demeters own Mike Piergrossi:

  • Mariah Roberts (Beach Pea Baking Co.)
  • Brendan Vesey (Joinery)

With more than a hundred guests in attendance, the event raised over $10,000 for the Cooking Matters program, which teaches local families how to stretch their food budget and eat nutritiously.

Share Your Love Dinner - Pan Roasted Hake
Pan-roasted hake with sprouted wheat berries, kohlrabi-turnip nage and pickled pig tongue by chefs Louis and Vargas.

Share Your Love Dinner - Roasted Udon Gnocchi
Roasted udon gnocchi with grilled kohlrabi, roasted carrots, black vinegar and a ham hock broth by chefs Kim and Vesey.

Share Your Love Dinner - Corned North Star Farm Leg of Lamb
Corned North Star Farm leg of lamb with stuffed cabbage potatoes, minted beet marmalade and local whipped feta by chefs Mallett and Piergrossi.

Share Your Love Dinner - Mocha Hazelnut Torte
Mocha hazelnut torte with vanilla bean gelato and raspberry drizzle by Bench and Segal.
